The Albion Long GP/ Jumping Girth combines an anatomical shape with premium materials to support freedom of movement and consistent performance.
The contoured design reduces restriction behind the elbow and, as a result, encourages greater shoulder mobility. Consequently, horses can move more freely through the shoulder during training and competition.
Crafted from premium leather, the girth features soft cushioning to help distribute pressure evenly across the sternum. Therefore, comfort is enhanced while a secure saddle position is maintained throughout work.
Additionally, elasticated buckle straps provide controlled stretch, allowing the horse to move naturally while maintaining stability and girth security.
A centrally positioned attachment clip allows quick connection of breastplates, martingales and training aids. Furthermore, the clip is protected by a magnetic cover that remains securely closed during exercise, providing additional safety and a refined appearance.

Care instructions:
To maintain the quality and longevity of your Albion leather, avoid leaving products damp, heavily soiled, or exposed to excessive heat, as this may cause the leather to stiffen or crack.
After each use, wipe the leather gently with lukewarm water and Albion’s Luxury Saddle Soap, then allow it to air dry naturally.
For a deeper clean, carefully clean all leather surfaces using lukewarm water and saddle soap. Once dry, apply Albion’s Luxury Leather Balm to nourish and protect the leather. Finally, buff both the leather and metal fittings with a soft cloth for a refined finish.
Additionally, we recommend inspecting your girth regularly for signs of wear, paying particular attention to the elasticated straps, stitching and buckles. This helps ensure continued safety and performance during use.
Always store your Albion leather goods in a cool, clean, and dry environment.
We recommend using Albion’s Luxury Soap and Balm with all Albion leather products.
