Albion’s Big Competition – Sophie Callahan
Have you seen all the amazing images connected with our Big Competition? They’re all by incredibly talented equine photographer Sophie Callahan. Sophie is based in Essex and travels all over the UK photographing people and their horses, and she also does a lot of work for equestrian brands and is a prolific blogger too. In addition to this shoot, Sophie also took lots of gorgeous images of our latest brand ambassador, Gracie Tyte, and her new K3 saddle. Which just so happens to be the same saddle that the winner of the competition will receive too!
Sophie is one of the best known equine portrait photographers in the UK, but Sophie is more than just photographing horses and people herself, she also works with a number of other photographers in a mentor role, helping them utilise their social media better and create businesses that they want from it.
As mentioned above, Sophie is also an equestrian and country lifestyle blogger and has worked with a growing list of brands including Joules, Hiho Silver, Mackenzie & George… and so many more. She’s also very active on social media and produces yearly prompts to help businesses and influencers post regularly on their social media.
Sophie lives in Essex with her husband Sam, baby Mollie, and beloved Cocker Spaniel Barney.
As part of the Big Competition, Sophie is giving away one photoshoot worth £500 to the lucky winner, subject to them living in the UK. Photoshoots are a great way to capture special moments and the bond between horse and rider/owner too, with the images being treasured for years to come.
